What we teach on our class days

Offered Mondays and Wednesdays at our school site. Tuesday is optional Outdoor Education.

  • History: American, world, and the great stories. Utilizing Hillsdale College’s 1776 Curriculum
  • Nature Study: kept in nature notebooks year-round
  • Art & Music: Young Appalachian Musicians and a variety of art forms
  • Spanish: a modern language for a wider world
  • Handicrafts & Life Skills: the real work of the hands
  • Middle & High Core Offerings: all subjects, including Honors options
